FUTURE PLAN

WAKE is mobilizing local and international support to:

Promote awareness about climate change and help secure the future by encouraging the preservation of nature.

Develop a wide range of income-generating and literacy programs, schools, and vocational centers for slum and brick kiln girls, street children, and women.

Establish vocational and adult education centers for women in their own communities.

Provide opportunities for women to achieve a better future through small business support, enabling them to contribute to the development of their community, society, and country.

CHALLENGES

The greatest hurdles to overcome are the high costs of high schools and vocational schools, dire poverty, unemployment, discrimination, and illiteracy. Many children and women prefer to work—even for very low wages—to support their families instead of pursuing education and vocational training.

In this challenging situation, I am fully dedicated to the cause of education, vocational training, and the personal development of poor, voiceless women and children who are victims of religious and domestic violence, together with my group of committed women.
